Logs to Lumber is a hardwood lumber and woodworking supply store located in Marshalltown, Iowa. We began several years ago by harvesting local logs and processing the lumber for local woodworkers. Today Logs to Lumber is a small sawmill that specializes in Iowa native, domestic and imported hardwoods, as well as custom millwork, cabinets and furniture. We are the woodworkers one-stop shop, with a fine selection of hardwood plywood, woodworking tools and supplies we serve the hobbyist and professional alike.

If you would like to have logs custom sawn and processed into useable, kiln-dried lumber or if you would simply like to see logs being processed, our sawyer would be happy to show you around. Whether you want us to design or replicate mouldings, cabinets, furniture or simply need assistance in tackling a woodworking project of your own, we have a professional woodworker on staff to meet your needs.

Logs to Lumber offers a vast array of hardwood products including custom mouldings (baseboard, casing, crown, chair rail, etc.), solid hardwood paneling, wainscoting, flooring, fireplace mantels, handrails, stair treads, balusters, butcher block tops, bar rail and more. Our services include saw blade re-sharpening, moulding pre-finishing, lumber processing, belt sanding, and lamination.
